Progress Update 11

A lot of progress has been made in the past week! So far we've added baked lighting, performance enhancements, and animations for the player including different attacks, death, special attacks, and their victory dance. We've updated the map, changed the camera viewport, and made the buttons and joystick movement free-moving. We also changed the UI, making changed that include the health bar and font. We also made the buttons and joystick more transparent for the player. A stamina bar was added that depletes when player attacks. Damage is now done when both the enemies and player attack. An fps counter was added for performance debugging, as we noticed that it wasn't working on everyone's phone. Needless to say, we're making great progress!

For next week, we're focusing on improving AI, adding settings to turn off the music and vibration, and changing up the game-play to hopefully include the next level, sound effects for the attacks, and different music depending on state of the game, such as the menu, during play and death.
